        Not by much.

I dont know why they need 4 different time slots for games anyway, there arent going to be four games played on a single day, at four different times are there?

And there's no need for games to be played 3 hours apart, 2 hours would easily suffice and even allow 4 games to be played in one day at different time slots, without it being highly inconvenient for the European tv market.

best thing to do would be to but all the individual group games on at the same time. Group A 6pm and Group B 8pm Etc. Then 'Red Button' them and let the public decide. There are far to many games that most people don't care about for the majority to watch 4 games in one day.

Well nah, they could do all the games at different times, apart from the last group games, which have to be at the same time.

            Can easily do 7pm, 9pm & 11pm - in Brazil it'd be 3pm, 5pm & 7pm

If one team play all their games in the southern part of the country and another all their games in the northern part then it could be a big temperature difference.

One team could end playing in 35 degrees every game and another in 20.

Wouldn't exactly be fair would it.

FFS People complaining about 2am wake up.

Are you guys kidding??? At South Africa kick off times were 10 pm 1am and 4 am or something like that. You should be glad that that is the worst that it will be for you guys.

I am generally wanting to go to this, I will have finished uni the year before (hopefully) so I will have 6 or so months to work and then travel there but by the sounds of things the local travel will be a piss take. Groups should be based in one city.

I think its a bit rich for us on this side of the world to complain about times games kick off. Its a global sport, so you would expect the timings to reflect that, and they do. Itll be the same as USA 94, it was a bit of a pain but it was good fun too.

It is ****ing stupid how spread out it is, you would think they would split the country into north and south for the groups at least.

The European tv Market has traditionally been the biggest so that usually dictates.

Disagree on that now. For the world cup Id wager that there will be more watching in Asia, Oceania, South America and North America for Europe to not matter as much.

It's the world cup, not the European cup. Europe doesn't doean't have some kind of exclusivity on football. Anyway, it's a load of **** as has been mentioned before.

The same thing happened here in South Africa where every team played their group matches in different cities - ok SA is not as big as Brazil but this is not a new thing with regards to World Cups...
Thanks for the memories Rafa - YNWA!
