There is a little story that goes around here in Norway now. My local team got promoted to the top division for the first time ever last season. It was a big surprice and the club isn`t really set up for it (5000 capacity, crap stadium, little oragaization etc).
However the shirt sponsor deal is worth 6M NOK per year (approx. £650 000). The strange thing is that this is apparently the same as what Blackburn gets
Who is it possible for a team in the PL to get only £650 000?

Lad here is a Blackburn fan. Apparently they had a deal set up, but then chickened out.

6 pts clear of the relegation places now. Has anyone watched them play of late, I haven't? I thought they weren't as bad as some made out earlier in the season but expecte dthat when they didn't get the points for good performances they would wilt. Starting to get clean sheets too.

Fair play, the club could have easily gone the way of Rangers if they'd have gone down (and they still might).

Not sure if that was due to them improving or the other teams being even worse though.

They have consistently scored goals both away from home and at home. Their problem at times was conceding more than the opposition. They have a good record scoring away from home. Better than ours and a lot of other teams anyway

Too be honest, its nice to see some owners not sack the manager before the first 12 months is up. He may be ****, I dont know becuase ive not seen Blackburn much this season. But at least there not getting rid straight away.
