Good banter on here, thought I'd come have a look around.
Looking forward to our next 3 games, lose, draw, win in that order I'm predicting, but in all honesty if we lose all 3 i'll still be happy with our start to the season.
I'm getting quite bored of people keep banging on about the fact that we 'haven't played a decent side yet'.
Looking at our corresponding fixtures from last season compared to this season (excluding the QPR game as they weren't in the PL, we are a massive 18 points better off, conceding less and scoring more.
I don't care what part of the season the games come, if anything unbeaten from day one is a harder achievement as players normally take a while to get into their stride, which was most certainly the case with Ba and Tiote but we still ground results out.
These are the types of teams that we invariably struggle to beat every season, but this season something has just clicked.

The media can't bear to see us holding our own and doing well. It was they that were predicting a gloomy road ahead with no Carroll, Enrique, Nolan or Barton, no striker (of any reputable nature) purchased with the £35m, free signings and young players brought in, in place of experienced seasoned premier league players.
Does my head in.
No doubt they'll be straight on it if we lose to either Man City, Man U or Chelsea printing more bollocks about how we failed when put to the real test.
Arsenal, Man Utd and Chelsea have all been on the end of proper beatings this season so far, so for us to lose (even comprehensively) to any of these 3, as well as Man City is no great shame really. I just hope that defeat, whatever the nature does not knock our confidence cos on current form, after these 3 games we have a good run of games that are more than winnable.
