Your massively underrating Modric there, I agree that it is Silva but the gulf in class is not that wide.

I think the gulf between them is quite wide, but not through Modric being anything but excellent - Silva's just sublime, he's one level behind the Messi and Ronaldo level IMO.

Neville saying that Modric is as good as Xavi. He obviously disagrees with you Craig.

I dunno, I don't think the gap is massive, Silva is magical, but I think Modric if used in a similar position would be just as effective, he plays CM bang in the middle for Spurs, whereas I see Silva as someone who tucks in more behind the forward.

I think Modric would be able to do that job just as efficiently. Maybe with a little less flair.

More Adebayor for me, Parker is obviously a good edition but both Sandro and Huddlestone were pretty good for them last year.

Upfront they struggled to score and now they look much more of a threat.

Brad Friedel is also making a huge difference, a massive upgrade on Gomez.

They're a proper team with a better first XI than us and arsenal, and if Chelsea keep struggling they'll be on for third. Assuming they keep Modric and Bale in Jan and stay free of too many injuries.

Spurs are on an impressive run. They've become contenders and are surprising a lot of people.

Harry Redknapp is also showing just how little you need to be a tactical genius is this league. He's built a fast team that attacks, and what do you know, they win more then they don't.
