    I know few too.

My brother's best friend did that to himself and his girlfriend found him hanging in the garage and called my brother.

He showed up there before the police and medics and he was never the same after that.

It took us a long time to have him talk and deal with that as he's the type of a person that bottles all the emotions.

Makes you wonder whats in these peoples head! Meant to have been a nice guy, however a nice guy NO MATTER haw bed he feels shouldn't end it leaving his loved ones to pick up the pieces. Thoughts go out to his family and close friends. When people commit suicide then I don't have time for them, what they leave behind is the upsetting part.

Will prob get flamed for the comments however its a matter I feel strongly on!

Tragic. You have to feel for his family.

Brings to mind this piece from yesterday's paper about football and depression. Worth a read.

So sad about this, even more upsetting if he took his own life, must have been in a terrible place to have done that, can't even imagine being so unhappy

              RIP Gary

Absolutely shocked beyond belief at this news, was watching football focus and he was only saying how he was looking forward to leading Wales in the World cup qualifiers, always seemed like a really level headed guy, if the suicide news is true then it's very sad indeed

My thoughts go out to his family and friends

                RIP Gary

We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

RIP Gary Speed. My first PL game game was against him, he showed me in that game what is british football about.

It's difficult to understand what it's like, but a person in such a frame of mind is not aware or is too numb to fully grasp the results of his actions. It's an illness, and I can't judge whoever has suffered from severe depression. I have a lot of sympathy with whoever goes through that.

Tributes pour in for Wales manager Gary Speed who has died aged 42

Tributes have been pouring in for Wales manager Gary Speed who has been found hanged at his home near Chester.

The 42-year-old former midfielder won 85 international caps and had been national team boss for 10 games.

"I'm stunned, still shivering and a few tears have been shed," former Wales manager Bobby Gould told BBC Sport.

"I just looked at John Hartson in disbelief. He was my skipper and went on to lead Wales and he was starting to turn the corner. It is so sad."

Speed made his name at Leeds and played a key role as United won the First Division title in 1992 - the season before it was rebranded the Premier League.

Howard Wilkinson, his manager at Elland Road, added: "He had so much to offer as a person and as a sportsman.

"I just find it unbelievable. I cannot start to try to understand what his family are going through.

"Gary had a lot of talent and that talent became his job. Footballers are subject to all the stress and strains of things that happen in life.

"I always tried to get to know my players very well. He was a star in the truest sense. For him at 42 to leave us is such a tragic loss. He had a life of success to look forward to.

Speed's former national team-mate Dean Saunders said: "I just can't believe it. I spoke to him last week.

"We roomed together all of our careers with Wales. I just can't get my head around it. It's incredible.

"He's so level-headed. You never saw him down in the dumps. He was just a really nice fella. I'm just thinking about his wife and his lads."

                      More to follow.

Howard Wilkinson just paying tribute on the Swansea Villa match. Horrible.
                        3rd place. Worst champions ever.

@BrianDurand56 Brian it looks like Bellamy has omitted himself from the match day squad today for personal reasons relating to Gary's death

I expected that. They were close, can't imagine how he feels.

Cannae blame Bellers. If his head isn't right, it isn't right. Better omitted himself from squad then playing a shocker.
