If Spain play to their normal level them I can't see anybody beating them without a huge amount of luck

Best team, best squad. National teams don't tend to go on 'runs' though. This would be their third biggie in a row and for that reason I think it'll be Germany that wins it.

That's definitely the big thing against them - winning three on the spin must be almost unheard of (is it?) and there are huge demands and weight of expectation on them. But they're my tip cos they're the best team, best players, "horses **** horses"

West Germany won 72 Euros, 74WC and got beat on penalties by Czechs in the 76 Euros finals.

That is as close as a European side has come to doing it, whether Brazil or Argentina have done it with the South American Championships not sure.

But agree on the other point - Germany are the likely winners

Germany have a good strong squad too, they should take some beating; plus I reckon they'll get decent support from their fans heading over to Poland and the Ukraine.

I think Germany are going to disappoint everyone, they have a decent squad on paper but have their weaknesses defensively. Also they are too attacking at times and it leaves them vulnerable on the counter.

Italy barely score more than 1 goal a game and might manage to get to the semis with a bit of luck but defo dont have a good enough team to win.

France are so poor, all flair but no teamwork or fight.

England have Roy.

Portugal are rubbish.
The rest are rubbish too.
