What would a 23 year old Gerrard be worth (£) this season? Was muComment

Would prefer if Klopp had a Wenger moment against him on the touchline. Jose shat himself against Wenger, an angry Kopp would probably see him fall into the fetal position sucking his thumbI don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

We agreed a £32m fee with Chelsea back in 2005 or 2006 and he changed his mind, that must be in the £75/£80m range now?
The thing is Gerrard played for his boyhood club, he'd run through walls for LFC. Pogba seems to be an egomaniac with an agent who'll get itchy feet ina couple of years, don't see him at United in 5 years tbh.Comment

Forget about the league and look at the player - my point was that they both possess similar traits and thesame age:
Tall, rangey, can tackle, athletic, good technique, long shots, not sure what the best position is for them.
I genuinely see a lot of similarities between the two of them at a footballing level, personality wise Gerrard seems more humble and grounded than Pogba.Comment

of course he is mate. Pogba's a manc cunt and the word humble isn't in their vocabulary.Forget about the league and look at the player - my point was that they both possess similar traits and thesame age:

completely agree with this. We are Man United and even without Champs League we can compete with anyone. That's the message i've got over the last few seasons anyways and they have spent their asses off trying to keep up appearances. They are so desperate to remind the world of football, that are a still a relevant club.
On his day Pogba is a world beater, other times he looks like a lazy **** (Same has been said of Ibra) Forgetting the money, it's a cracking signing for them. Pogba and Ibrahimovic are hugely talented, flawed players.
Let's hope it all goes dreadfully wrong

Ha. They are a relevant club given they are in top three revenue generating clubs in the world.
The difference this season they've bought better than in previous seasons and they'll surely go close to winning the league if they don't all fall out with other before then what with them being glorious thundercunts.
They've some spine now, which is easy to assemble when you throw hundreds of millions at the problem to be far.Comment

They are relevant financially and as a business but they haven't been on the pitch for sometime. Pogba was on the market this year and most big clubs -Barca, Real, PSG, City, Chelsea and Utd all wanted him. United were prepared to do whatever it took to get him IMO - fee, salary, agent fee etc. Them signing him makes them relevant in terms of showing that they can outbid their rivals and attract him over the other clubs mentioned. The spine they have now and Jose make them a potential force on the pitch also now.Ha. They are a relevant club given they are in top three revenue generating clubs in the world.

Real like to have to title of being the club with the most expensive player in the world - Bale, Ronaldo, Kaka, Zidane, Figo etc and now United have taken it from them.Comment

Fair point. They definitely have one Galacitico that Real don't but they have arguably two in Bale and Ronaldo. Once Ronaldo is put out to pasture they'll be all over Pogba if as expected he shines. They are relevant financially and as a business but they haven't been on the pitch for sometime. He is going to be hated this season by every other club.
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho says rival managers spoke out about the cost of Paul Pogba because their clubs are not big enough to do such a deal.
Midfielder Pogba, 23, rejoined United on Tuesday for a world-record £89m.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger and Liverpool counterpart Jurgen Klopp were outspoken about his valuation.
"Sometimes in football, things happen and the club breaks the record, but this is only possible at clubs like Manchester United," Mourinho told MUTV.
"When I heard some of the comments and heard some of the managers criticising that, I don't think they ever have this problem because, to have this problem, you need to be at one of the top clubs in the world."
Speaking before the deal was confirmed, Wenger said Pogba's valuation was "completely crazy", while Klopp said he would not spend that much on a single player even if his funds were unlimited.
Mourinho said their comments were "not ethical".Modifying post.Comment
