I don't think the point is regarding the severity of the assault (not very) but Tyrone Mings received a 5 marmtch ban for literally the same thing only a week before.

They aren't even disguising that it's not a level playing field. I'd imagine they feel the fact that Zlatan got his punishment means Utd have been punished enough.
The fact is Zlatan deserved his ban and Rojo deserves one also.

Dont think he got extra for appealing, the FA gleefully announced the standard 3 match ban would be "insufficient" such was the act of evilness. Meanwhile a week later and stamps are now allowed, funny old game.

This whole 'Ref saw it' has got to stop. Its bollocks. If he saw it and didnt punish to the same degree, than the ref has ****ed up and should be removed. But he hasnt, he has just made a call at speed in a game.

FA needs to grow some balls here and punish teams properly. They are just afraid to upset people and clubs. Rojo should be banned for 5 games if its the same offence (which it is, even if intent cant be proven)

Exactly right. Surely retroactive discipline exists to correct errors? Defaulting back to the original decision is dumb.
