He is the worst they have had post Ferguson. Which is astonishing really. All the things he talks about are in some ways correct, needing time etc. But you need to see the semblance of a plan. We could see that from day one with Klopp, same with City and Pep. OFS couldn’t look more out of his depth.

Thought Cantonna got off lightly with his 9 month ban, some of which was the close season if I remember correctly,I wonder what sort of punishment would be dished out today if something like that was to happen?

If you remember he said at the time it was one of his best achievements, and United fans spent a lot of time crowing about finishing above us - but we completely wrote off the end of the league season, picking weak teams and focusing on the CL en route to Kiev. We dropped points at Everton in April with a joke team, and drew 2-2 at West Brom and 0-0 at home to Stoke at the end of April with Ings up front in both games (these two games were either side of the destruction of Roma at Anfield). Then we lost at Chelsea after the Roma 2nd leg. We gifted them 2nd, and yet they still crow about it.
