We were 100% from 7 last season too. We missed 1 the season before that.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I would hazard a guess that the players who get most pens are Sterling, Rashford, Kane, Zaha and Vardy. Don't have the stats but Tomkins rants about it frequently, English strikers tend to get the pens. So we need to start playing Brewster.

It's cos if you're English you aren't tarred with the "goes down easily" brush that seems to tarnish foreign strikers, so if you're English and fall in the box, it's cos you were fouled, not cos you flopped on the floor. English grit and determination, innit!?

Jack Grealish is the most fouled player in the PL apparently. He seems to keep being linked with Man Utd so if they sign him expect the number of pens they get to get even higher next season

He's not, but he's come through the ranks in English football, so isn't associated to the "culture of diving" that we believe permeates only through foreign leagues, and was brought into the PL from the outside. Cos before then, diving never existed.

Which really is a joke because I would say probably alot of the worst divers in the league are English or have come through the system here: off the top of my head in recent years: Dele Alli, Harry Kane, Daniel James, Ashley Young, Jamie Vardy, Ashley Barnes, have all been regularly throwing themselves to the ground and none have a reputation as being divers

I'd agree, but if you're English then you have "felt the contact and gone to ground" but otherwise the narrative is *he just threw himself to the floor". But yes, there are a host of English players that I would class as a 'diver' but they aren't seen as such.
