****in hell, i bet that was one of the key points from Utd's data analysis & why Woodward didn't do the normal haggle routine; whereby it takes him 4 weeks to get any transfer over the line.

“Donny van de Beek has won the most penalties in the Dutch League since 2018”

I don't think he did. I think his club just retweeted an older tweet to make a point.

I was sure this was a wind up.

            Truly, truly excruciating.

                ...so in other words:

"Dear Manchester United fans, remember me? I was not as good as Schmeichel or even DeGea.. but I was better than Barthez.. oh and that cunt, Taibi. In a desperate attempt to improve my popularity I'm taking out a full page ad in this local rag to make me seem sincere. To do this, I've centered all my text and headline. Left aligned is so overrated. Like me. Look after Donny. And all the other Osmonds. This should get me a few free tickets if nothing else. And a new pair of Sondico gloves. Ta-ra, the tall, skinny one who had four put passed him in 'The Theatre' and the last one was by ****ing Dossena. Christ on a bike."

Didn't Lukaku say something similar about wanting out after one game?

I used to work with a girl who left to work for another company. By the lunch time of the first day at the new company she was on the phone to her old boss asking to come back.

I doubt she was on anything close to 500k per week though

I'd love to have done that when I was younger and its a real regret definitely have had the opportunities.

A mate of mine walked out of a job at lunch on day one when we were lads. I did walk out of an interview once. That was liberating.

I've had several job interviews where i'd wished i'd done that.

In one the guy interviewing kept on playing with his mobile phone and another was for a job that within about 30 seconds of the interview starting i realised i was so out of my depth that the fairest thing for all would have been to simply end the interview.

In mitigation i was literally just out of Uni and desperate for a job on both occasions.

I'd like to think if it happened again now i'd walk out
