They're basically Houllier's Liverpool without Houllier's experience or trophies. Every player excels in their role when the opposition attacks. As we found out, it's not so good when the same players have to do something else because the opposition are sitting back.

To be fair it's a decent record and yes it compares favourably with Klopp. I am more than happy for them to give him more time.

I suspect that the issue is Klopp's record presumably got better through that first 100 games. Solskjaer's record when in temporary charge was excellent (from their point of view): Pl19 W14 D2 L3, since then Pl81 W42 D18 L21 which is 67 or 68 points a season at best that's just scraping into top 4 at worst probably 6th, again that's where Klopp was in his first couple of years (his first season we finished about 8th) but we were crap before he came in IIRC they finished 2nd. We then we finished 4th a couple of times but again it's about progress, we were making it. For Solskjaer it's all about this season and what they do, it's too early to judge but if the don't make the CL IMO he'll be gone.
