he signed a new contract exactly 3 months before our defeat, now he's one bad result away from the sack, I think club acting so temperamental based on game by game results is a ****ed set up. One bad decision, miss, deflection away from the sack.

I reckon Fergie just doesn't want Ole going out on that 5-0. 3 games before the international break, let him get some pride back then **** him off.

Also Ronaldo coming in to stop City getting him is basically Alexis Sanchez all over again an that worked out well for them.

Or did City set United up for the fall, to give them a free run at the next big target??

Been talk they've done that a few times in the past but think it was genuine panic from City missing out on Kane, ironically Bernando has been their best player and Laporte back in the side, both of them plus Sterling would have been off if things went to plan and I reckon they'd have been weaker for it.

I'm actually a bit annoyed we didn't put them to the sword. I think we're just so measured, we knew that 5 was enough of a statement and then we just contained ourselves for the last 40 mins to conserve energy. It's brutally brilliant game management but humiliating them more would've been priceless

Yeah, I kind of feel we missed the opportunity to set a bench mark for the ages. We could have equaled there 9-0 v Ipswich if we really pushed.

I think it was also to stop them butchering us. But I think everyone knows it was only 5-0 purely due to us no longer going at them, and absolutely nothing else. So maybe that's even more of a humiliation than 8-0 or something.

You're all wrong. We went to sh*t once Naby went off. Pogba sensed it could be double figures, so took one for the team and it worked.
