He will not be given that at United and he never worked with a club of this size.

The father of gegenpressing is total bs also - Klopp is an advocate of Sacchi’s Milan side and his counter pressing style. I have no doubt he could go well at United but it could also blow up if he isn’t given the control he likes.

Nonetheless it will be interesting to see how it goes
It's all relative though. In Germany that is a successful manager because usually Bayern are impossible to compete with.

Klopp is an anomaly there in the bundesligas recent history.

I actually think he will get a lot of control because they are lacking in any sort of football direction and need to move on with the game since Ferguson's days at the club.

So much poor defending... And thats from his 'good ' season.

When you consider that clip doesn't even have any of his blunders from this season!

also I think if he is going to transform the way they play etc, it will take time, and surely they can’t expect instant results this season- with the quality that they have, I expect they’ll prob get 4th place ahead of the likes of west ham/arsenal.. but I don’t expect them to be transformed into the type of team that rangnick envisions, by the end of the season.

There could very well be a case where they are progressing to this new style of play at the pace he expects, but they finish 7th/8th (Similar to us at the end of klopp’s first year). If this was to happen, would the fans etc all stand by him? I defo don’t see them having the same patience as they had with Ole, if things don’t go smoothly. For example, say he benched Ronaldo in the CL last 16 game and they got knocked out. Could see fans turning on him.
        I don't tip

The time he dragged Luke Shaw to the ground to give the striker a clear shot was probably my favourite.

Hard to know what his 'plan' is there?

The other class one is the early on clip v Chelsea, where he stumbles about, crashing into Matic but somehow holds onto the ball. He then plays a pass out of defence where you think for a second "I suppose he has done alright there' only for that pass to land straight at the feet of an onrushing Chelsea player

He is ****e. If it was not for him being an England international it would be in the media all the time.

Definitely gets the England bias, he's utterly woeful but hardly ever gets called out on it (van Der Vaart and Keane apart) it's much the same with Pickford he's Englands number 1 so much be good.

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a ****ter defender especially when you take into account he cost £80m. £80m!!!

........... Hence why the grass grows so green at OT.
"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.

Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."

Hilarious that their new manager can’t get a work permit.

He is also apparently on an £8.5m bonus if he can persuade Haaland to sign

They just chuck money at anything.
