Don't know much about him either and also wouldn't get too carried away about any particular signing, as similar to Klopp, ETH seems like a sum greater than parts manager.

But any time I wonder if United could be the real deal under ETH, I remember they paid nearly 100 Euros for Anthony.

Think Ronaldo was around £600k but base salary was £375k s week, same as DeGea. Ronaldo had a security clause at £20k pw, House fee at around £30k a week plus loads of other add ons to get him to the number he wanted. There was a story that he paid for every table next his table in a restaurant to be empty so he would not be bothered. FWIW DeGea was on £350k basic plus £25k a clean sheet, there was also trophies bonuses but that was split as part off a group.

The PL is a massive step up from Italy and Austria, especially at that age, might progress into something in a few years but I reckon he will be get torn a new one next season.

It's not up front, staged payments, Utd will need to flog some dead wood, ETG not hanging around tho, Ive got a feeling this. is a car crash waiting to happen tho. For the English league you really need legs, he's going for young lads in the hope, can see this crashing next season
