Evans, Mount, Rasmus and Reguillon, Onana and Amrabat. Thats a pretty poor window.

Looks like United are going to learn that not strengthening from a good season as Arsenal did is the only way to progress!!

I think Ten Hag is a decent manager but has spent an insane amount of money with minimal impact. They lost yesterday and straight away the United media blame the owners after 400 odd million in 2 seasons.

The other thing that nobody mentions is that he’s gone straight to what Solskjaer was doing which is essentially counter attack football

It's all about the Glaziers not backing the manager.

It's nuts really, they're not good owners but successive managers there have been given huge sums of cash to recruit players which is seemingly never enough and when it starts to go pear shaped it's back to #glaziersout. ETH has been given a ridiculously easy time of it especially considering his record vs the top 10.

Its almost become comedy at this point, with Neville having to caveat himself before he doubles down on the owners.

He was moaning about they have a turnover of over £500M but only spent £200M on incoming players (only behind Chelsea in spend).

You'd hope to god he has nothing to do with the finances at his businesses

It's genuinely ****in nuts. Neville trying to say that the uncertainty over the club ownership is causing them to be **** now as well. Total bull****. Their wage bill is ****in huge. Their transfer spend has been huge.

They have picked rubbish managers and bought **** players - either with an attitude problem or over the hill. Or both.

Sancho is the latest in a line of good players ruined by them. Mount will be next.

Under the glazers they have spent more money on the signings of Pogba, Maguire, Antony, Sancho, Van De Beek, Casemiro, Mount, Lukaku, Fred, Mata, Matic, Lindelof and Bailly than Jurgen Klopp has spent on players in his time at Liverpool. Forget net spend - and the fact that lfc have brought in huge money on the likes of Coutinho, Fabinho etc. That is total outlay.

Of those 13 players mentioned, they will probably state that Antony, Mount, Casemiro are important players. But they ain't selling them for anything close to what they paid. They recouped some on Lukaku but still lost 30m on him. They lost 47m on Freds transfer fees.

                        Pogba 94m
                        Matic 40m
                        Mata 37m
                        Bailly 30m

They all left on frees. Thats 201m quid in transfer fees ffs

It's highly likely that Maguire, Van Beek, Lindelof, Casemiro and Varane will all leave on frees as well because no other team is stupid enough to pay a fee for them. Thats another 250m on transfer fees!!!!

Its not like someone like De Gea who they got a decade of service out of. They've all been ****e!!!

You get the feeling that the environment is all wrong there. With Klopp and Pep, there is a massive investment in the personality as well as the player. Sign solid humans and weed out the bad influences. Klopp did it straight away with Sakho - Pep with Cancelo.

United have ruined Sancho completely. He was a top prospect, such a good signing for them and he has been utterly ****e. He needs to move on.

Martial is another example of a player 'ruined' at United.

He's 28 in December yet I still think of him as 'promising'

Had he Klopp or Pep as his manager for the last 5 seasons he'd be entering his prime as one of the best in the world.

                                Big time.

Mourinho told them that pogba was a bad apple and that he needed a center back. They backed Ole with 130m the following summer for Maguire and Wan Bissaka. Mourinho also said that finishing second with that group was his biggest achievement. He was 100% correct.

All that money and their two best players were lads that came through their academy. And one of them turned out to be a rapey domestic abuser and threw his career away.
