    That is really poor form.

Kind of hope someone like Rashford comes along and gives the 40 grand to the charity.

Be a nice way to help a charity whilst at the same time giving two fingers to his own paymasters.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Has a slash and burn merchant ever achieved anything in football?

He really does become more of the archetypal cunt with every passing week.
      Oh I don't know.

A charity for ex players seems a bit odd though.

            A right cunt.
Good for people to see how the "wealth creators" create wealth.

Glaziers have played a blinder bringing him in. All the heat off them now.

Well they definitely don't spend the money on the website, I haven't seen one like that since the 90s.

Article also says it's for players who sign pro contracts but never make a first team appearance.

£40k a year is a drop in the ocean, I would have thought stopping paying a charity for that amount isn't worth the bad publicity. Also when it is a charity so closely associated withe the club it doesn't exactly endear the supporters to you, just seems like a PR disaster for little gain.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Utd can write that money off against tax too so it makes even less sense to penny pinch there. ******.

Latest generation of industrialist innit. They no longer send children down mines but they still give a **** about little else than profit.

The only thing that stops them sending kids down mines is they wouldn't get away with it these days. He thought he'd get away with this one, clearly not.

It's not that often you see the ultra rich behaving so badly though, they tend to put out a generous persona even if it isn't real. He's just a Terrahawk faced monster

He has to improve the players he has and get better results than ETH. Not title winning better.. Just better.

In the early stages that's the only way to measure his impact and potential.

So far no change as far as I can tell..

                              Wonderful.
