I'm going to believe this to be true.

Get Tim Howard back, secure Baines and play them all alongside Fellaini (after the media have linked Man Utd to Messi, Ronaldo, Falcao et al); Moysey's vision is bearing fruit.

Did anybody see the Rooney interview on Sky Sports News where he lauded Martinez with what he was doing at Everton, and basically said how they are a much better team this year due to their style of play. To me it seemed like it was a veiled dig at Moyes.

Or maybe I read too much into it.

We rate managers but we don't rate coaches in this country. I don't mean to disrespect Sir Alex Ferguson—he was a great manager but he couldn't put on a coaching session to save his life.

He couldn't even put out the cones. There is a big difference between a coach and a manager.

He is right though - one of Ferguson's strengths was he knew what he didn't know - and got somebody in to fill that gap.

But Pepe will want CL football.

The battle to win promotion could be very tempting!

I see that Fabio, Vidic, Ferdinand, Evra, Carrick, Giggs and the super amazing wonderkid are all out of contract at the end of the year ... Moyesey is going to have to build an entirely new defence the summer after he failed to address their wank midfield. Ha!

I would assume that Fabio, Vidic and Carrick will all sign new contracts, I suspect the same will apply to Ferdinand although given that he's getting on a bit that may only be a year. Giggs will retire, and it's unclear what will happen with Evra I think he could move on. But I don't think that there will be that many that they will replace immediately, obviously as they are all getting on it'll need to be soon but there is still time to phase them out.

I think there is a lot of chat about Vidic not signing a new contract and heading to Juventus. I agree that Carrick and Fabio will probably sign a new deal, but I can see Ferdinand, Giggs and Evra all leaving. He'll try his luck again for Baines and he'll need to address central defence as well as continuing to look at the midfield (unless he addresses that in Janaury).

I'm of the biased opinion that this is only the start of things going tits up for Moyesey.

Yep. Hopefully some of them will scurry like rats from a sinking ship. Then Moyes will be in serious ****ing ****. If he's still there.

I hope so, but I think that if he is forced to make changes there is a possibility they could be improved, if they could just keep those players a few years more there will be a bigger problem on the horizon.
