Players like Romario,Muller,Fowler,Inzaghi,Butragueno,Pauleta,R aul,Owen etc were goal scorers,poachers,opportunists & had no all round game didn't do them much harm. Most forwards don't have an all round game but if they put the ball in the ball of the net who gives a **** Nigey.

Hernandez is decent, would probably be good for 20 odd goals a season given a regular starting place.
If the games not going for you though it'll be like playing with 10 men, as he's only really useful in front of the penalty spot.The times they are a changin'.Comment

That's why he's in his situation he currently finds himself in. Man Utd bring him on when they are pressing forward and in need of goals which suits his game and while this is the case the team is set up to play the way that suits him, which is why he rarely has a bad game in these situation. But is also probably why he struggles or at least doesn't look as good when playing 90 mins.

Raul,Fowler,Romario as i mentioned all brilliant players and goal scorers, but i would hazard a guess the amount of goals the three above scored... about 90% + of those goals would have been scored within the penalty area. Not at the top level they won't. Raul, Fowler and Romario had much much to their game than just goal scoring. Hernandez as a starter takes too much from the rest of the team to be effective. Useful sub though.Just because they are poachers doesn't mean they have to score **** goals
