The Van Persie injury/unhappy has an element of truth to it - There is a massive unease at the coaching staff brought it, and those who they replaced. Ferguson counselled Moyes to keep Phelan, the dutch fella, etc, etc but Moyes thought better and brought his own mob. Can you imagine Phil Neville giving Van Persie and Rooney tips on becoming better players !!!!! Not only that but the Giggs/Scholes promotions has grated some of the old and younger players leading to a few issues.
Don't be surpassed now that the Rene the Dutch fella, and when Phelan gets a job they unload a few on Ferguson, they feel very let down by him going (and not renewing their contracts before he went).
Contrary to other beliefs , they have a wedge of cash to spend, and they will spend it, the Chevrolet deal and the Sky deals have bumped them up to the PSG, City and Real Madrid level. The general feeling is they will give Moyes time (beyond this season and even next) even if he doesn't qualify for Europe at any level.
If there is a god, they will honour his 6 year contract.

The last bit of that titbit is exciting stuff for us Pool fans. Not only are they planning to keep him this and maybe next season, but they're ready to let him buy another three Fellainis and not fire him for it.

The Yes Man has now entered the building.
      One tit for another.

Nope - They are at that level, the Chev deal effectively repays the loan and more each season. Considering they raise at least £1m more per game than most shows they are at that level
I make no apologies, this is me

I dont expect Olympiacos to be as easy as people expect. They've been doing pretty well lately and their striker is in semi god mode at the moment. I'm looking at an upset.

Got to play in a half shut stadium mind so that can't help.

Olympiakos is a pretty good team. Will be far from a walkover. Benfica have caused trouble for a lot of teams in the past 2-3 seasons in the CL, and they finished above them. Utd. favorites, but no easy feat getting through the round IMO.

Olympiakos are ****, it'll be routine but I've got no problem with that, they can have the league cup aswell, anything so they can look back on the season and say "yeah it wasnt that bad, we'll keep him".

They're not scheduled to begin pulling out until 2016 which gives them plenty of time to change their mind if the market place improves.
