I know, just think he could have bribed every ref in every competition twice over!

Although he was the one who became **** scared to buy a midfielder after Veron flopped.. Love a striker himself though, in fact I think the only difference we'd have seen if he was still here would have been a CB.

A true mercenary's mercenary. The more we criticise him the more Utd fans will support him, beyond sensible levels. His first touch will be like Heskey's but they will point to his Atletico days as if that matters now.

What the **** are you on about? Comparing him to Heskey? He's far from past it yet, he's already got 2 goals in three games this season after recovering from injury. He got 11 goals in 19 games last season before injury too.

I knew people would suddenly decide he's **** and past it now he's signed for United. It was inevitable and stupid. Inevitably stupid. But the truth is virtually everyone wanted him when we were linked with him a few weeks ago, including me, because he's a world class striker. To pretend otherwise now just makes you look a bit foolish.

Thankfully he doesn't majorly strengthen them as they were already very strong up front anyway.

A world class striker who has never been trained by David Moyes at that.

              Agreed.

The league is almost guaranteed to be in the bag, and you'd be a fool to suggest anyone stands a chance against them now.
They're so good now, that there's talk of letting them back into the League Cup.

I for one fear very much for our lads when we're up against them.

So PSG's president said today that Di Maria wanted to join them but they couldn't make it happen & Falcao's oul lad said he wanted to join Real but it didn't happen. The way United fans are going on you'd swear Di maria & Falcao moved mountains to join the great and powerful Manchester United. Pure money & hopefully both play like their just their for the money.

I don't understand. Are you trying to do an impression of Chris?

I'm not sure anyone is suggesting that they have anything but a shot at top 4, outside shot, that is.

But that's nothing to do with whether Falcao is a very good player. Which he clearly is.

                      What have I missed?
                      Oh I don't know.

Indeed but early to say he's injury prone too.

Well then everyone is completely underestimating them. Even under the Moyes, there were flickers of brilliance to be seen.......Rooney's tireless workrate plus his intelligence when not in possession, Jones' unstoppable progress to becoming the foremost CB/CM/magazine model of his generation, Young's searingly accurate crossing honed to perfection against Fulham at Old Trafford and Juan Mata's conversion from visionary playmaker to all-round general dogsbody.
Now they have the bestest manager ever (he even says so himself), the bestest forward in post-war football and the ultimate ball-retainer in Angel DiMaria. Throw in the winner of 2013's Slimmer of the Year, Luke Shaw, and it's clear that they are now miles ahead of everyone in the game.

I mean, on the advice of some of my ManU fans, plus their unbiased, accurate predictions of how this is going to go, I've begun to sell off my Liverpool jerseys, DVDs, videos etc and going to go balls-deep in the new and improved ManU. I'd suggest everyone start doing the same. It's gonna be a hell of a ride !

He is a world class striker alright, but one of his two goals this season was from a penalty, wonder how many of his 11 last season were from the spot?

                              Edit: Found it
