The United situation is hilarious but not unexpected really

I must admit I was really surprised when they won the league last year, that was the worst squad they have had for some time, but RVP & Rooney carried them to that title. One year later and RVP is once again a touch more injury prone, Rooney has also suffered some injuries and some of their senior players are a year older and a little further over the hill

I discussed with a bluenose mate in the summer the merits of appointing Moyes. My mate thought that he would do well, but is revelling in the fact hes not and I thought he would struggle. Don't get me wrong hes no Hodgson but his style of play isn't suited to United (just like Hodgsons wasn't suited to us). Its very different being dogged, defensive, rigid than being the gung-ho, attacking football we have seen from United over the years

There are a few important points that people have overlooked imo, its not just losing Ferguson they also lost David Gill. That is two of their senior management team, they really could have done without replacing them both at the same time. On top of that Moyes has compounded the situation further by kicking out all Fergies staff, that was a massive mistake but this was a sign of insecurity by Moyes imo

The summer transfer window was an unmitigated disaster, the pursuit of Baines & Fellaini was laughable and to eventually cough up £27 million for Fellaini was comic stuff. That is definitely a position they need to strengthen but imo that money could have been spent better elsewhere

I really don't see Moyes doing it there whether hes there long term or short term, for me it would take a complete change of ethos from him in order to succeed and the signing of Fellaini only goes to re-enforce how he actually wants to shape the team and just like Roy hes not for changing

What is funny is the way the British media mafia are standing right behind the bug eyed **** with their "he's a great manager,he'll get it right" mantra. AVB,Rafa,Wenger,Pellegrini et al get/got routinely ridiculed by the cunts yet I've yet to hear a single negative comment about Moyes from a single pundit yet. It's laughable.
I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.

how long until they take the 'chosen one' banner down

rooney will go, either january or at the end of the season. rvp is probably broken for ever. no one with any sense will go there as they will realise they are in a tailspin. sweet.

423 failed crosses. A Premier League high.

Bottom 10 in the whole football league for home goals scored.

On course for worst title defence ever.

He has overseen the most embarrassing transfer window we've ever had, which basically made us look like some two-bob part timers. And then ended that by panic buying a microphone that he has worked with for years, but despite that has actually decided he is worse than our currently (very) **** midfield.

He felt a little intimidated by a team of established winners, so sacked them all and got in his headset wearing mates.

Four home league defeats already, only half way through the season. Worst record for over a decade.

Lost at Anfield. Got humiliated by City a couple of games later.

The following game saw us lose to West Brom at home, their first OT win in 35 years.

Then we lost to Everton, their first OT win in 21 years.

Then in the very next game we lost to Newcastle, their first OT win in 41 years.

Out of the cup at home in the third round... Fergie had one third round cup exit in 27 years

He hasn't promised anything in interviews, when questioned on style of play, title ambitions or even what any of his plans or visions are, he has swerved all questions.

He has, however, told us to expect more defeats like the City one,
                            - that we're not good enough to win the CL (five minutes after joining he had come to this conclusion but at the same time based his opinions on Hernandez etc on 'I've been told he's good')
                            - and that even if it breaks us, god damn it we WILL make it difficult for Newcastle at home (we didn't in the end).

He's taken a team that won the league at a canter to being shown up by Liverpool and perennial bottlers Arsenal, all while convincing the world we're actually **** and being seventh is actually more our level.

He's got one of the world's most talented forwards running up hills to get him fit (whilst he's injured)

He's got fans of a club that has been vying for league title records and European Cup ambitions every year for god knows how long thinking 'fourth place will do' (which even that he's struggling for).

He's done all this with a **** eating smirk on his face, the way through.

Other than that, he's done all right for his first half season.
