David Moyes claimed Manchester United are "having to play referees" as well as the opposition after watching his side's Capital One Cup semi-final first-leg defeat at Sunderland.
The United boss was upset when Adam Johnson won a penalty which led to Fabio Borini's winner in the 2-1 loss.
"We're having to play them [referees] as well as the opposition at the moment," he told Sky Sports.
"It's really terrible. We're actually beginning to laugh at them." BBC

They need someone to help steady the ship. Fat Sam's experienced at that and may be available soon. Or possibly Warnock if his media commitments allow.

Nah, would be a mistake, they need a proven winner. Wait until the summer and pick up Hodgson.

Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong could find himself in hot water after a cheeky Instagram post about David Moyes following Manchester United's defeat at Sunderland.

Beleaguered Manchester United boss David Moyes insists Alex Ferguson’s shadow is not looming over him as he attempts to revive the club’s season.
Moyes’ predecessor sat alongside Sir Bobby Charlton and Bryan Robson in the stands at the Stadium of Light on Tuesday night as relegation-threatened Sunderland condemned his side to a third successive defeat, the latest coming in the first leg of their Capital One Cup semi-final, for the first time in almost 13 years.
However, the Scot is adamant that the trio are a great help rather than a hindrance as he attempts to stamp his authority on the club.
Asked if their presence was an added pressure, he said: “Not at all.
“Alex is a great sounding-board for me. He is there to help, so is Sir Bobby. He is terrific. Bryan Robson is at the training ground regularly, I speak to him regularly.
“I find the three of them terrific.”
Poor David.......doesn't seem to have copped on that Robbo is in there now, waiting in the wings to take charge.

Would have been better if it was a United player.

WTF is Bryan Robson doing there? Why doesn't Moyes grow a pair like Rodgers did when he took over and say he's doing things his way? Tell failed has-beens like Robson to get on his bike!

True but just the fact that A player has dared to do it is pretty funny in my book.
