Yep, pretty sure he's got the backing of the board, which includes Ferguson in there. He'll be there next season, unless something dramatic happens.
    Are we winning?

I really really hope that's the case

I wish I knew either way now. That way I'd be able to enjoy their losses a bit more fully

My missus said something when she saw that celebration she said it was eerily similar to the type of stuff Roy did near the end of his tenure with us and I kind of get where she is coming from

Moyes is turning more and more into Roy from the rigid tactics to his press conferences and now his overly excited celebrations

I look forward to him starting to face rub
Thought Rooney's was worse, looked like they had won the Champions League.

He could have turned down those opportunities irrespective of any assurances

Lets face it he has to impress the board somehow because hes not doing that with results and by turning down the offers it shows his commitment to getting it right

I'm not convinced their board will give him free reign or another season

One thing about United is that they aren't indecisive very often

Look at their failures in the transfer window last summer and rather than risk the same thing happening they drafted in Fergie & Gill to sort out the Mata deal

            Something "dramatic"

You couldn't get anything more dramatic than their results so far this year

We must jump on every website and every poll to back Moyes....we must convince the diluded ones that Moyes needs TIME to turn things around.

                Oooohh Moysey we love you

I'd love to see a breakdown of their finances and how lack of European football will hurt them.

Of course you also need to factor in their unattractive ness to the calibre of player they'll need to bring on to get them into the top 4 again.

Assuming Moyes is on the reported £5 million a year, it should cost Utd around £25 million to terminate his contract at the end of the season

                      6 Year contract

I think most United fans would think that was a bargain

I suppose so, given that he's already written £250 million off their share price since the start of the season

I think the 6 year deal means he gets time, if it was 3 years. I reckon most mancs would be wanting to bite the bullet and get rid

Those results must be on a par with Hodgsons and or Kennys last 9 games for us
Sorry I don't want to derail the thread but I have to take you up on that - It was the results of the last 22 games of that season - 7W 5D and 10 Losses plus an inability to score consistently all season, poor signings and a lack of vision or tactical awareness in the league that got Dalglish sacked not 9 games as you'd like to believe.
