This was 8 years ago and it’s so much worse than then - that arrogant prick deserves it and more

If I were in charge I’d sack Amorim. They are in the **** and they need a strong manager than plays a way that suits the club’s strategy. Amorim is an absolute outlier and they can’t afford to change everything just for him.
It’s been a disaster.

Southgate is also free of course.
I was astounded at how clueless United were. The team selection seemed odd - a reactive rather than proactive selection; I can't believe that players like Mainoo, Ugarte, Dalot and Garnacho wouldn't have done a better job than Casemiro, Mount, Dorgu and that guy with the big beard. And way that team seemed to have been asked to play seemed odd: no support/triangles provided to the wide players, no players arriving late/making runs into the box and soon. And the quality of some of the performances was shocking.
A fan I was talking to spoke of Fernandes as a world beater, but do any of us think he'd get a regular game in any of the top six teams?
They are in a deep hole and need a lot of money to get out of it.Leave a comment:

needs to choose his next club based on footballing reasons and developing his career otherwise he'll just flounder from club to club like sancho
I think Garnacho looks dangerous in almost every game I see him play. He just doesn’t fit into Amorims flawed lineup. And then he is looking to supply chances for Hojland who looks lost. I’ve no idea how they don’t try to find a place for him in the team, and agree he will go on to be a top player like a fair few have after they leave.Leave a comment:

He certainly deserved to be on before the 70th minute, i can't recall Mount doing anything of note, and Amad did **** all in the second half as well.
A large portion of last night is on Amorim.Leave a comment:

Dyce put his hat in the ring a few weeks ago, even going as far as saying he'd play them 4-4-2 without a scintilla of trolling. It's funny, of course, but it'd be hard to argue he wouldn't be an improvement. For a while i've thought that if they jettison Amorim they'd go for a 'quick fix' and appoint Conte.
That was obviously based on them winning the Europa league and getting all that lovely CL money next season.
Not going to happen now. Conte doesn't go anywhere unless he gets to spend, spend and spend some more.Leave a comment:

They tried to sell Garnacho in Jan, surely he's off now after publicly complaining last night, but he's their most talented attacker. Amorim put Mason Mount wide left
I think Garnacho will shine at his next club.
