Yep, Scholes came out last week & said since Van Gaal that same message has come from subsequent mangers about Rashford(incl Southgate). So thats 6/7managers signing the same tune.

Tells you something when Arsenal are not sniffing around him, especially when they were were prepared to spunk massive wages on Sterling to solve their forward issues.

Granted, but what is it about his attitude - that is what I am not getting.

I find it really weird. I mean I get that Rashford might be under-performing in training, but typically you tell the player - meet these standards - and the player either does or doesn't and you pick them or leave them out until they do - there are loads of examples where this has happened at Liverpool. To me it seems like he's being treated as a scape-goat and also a way for the club to meet their funding obligations. I'm not a Rashford fan, but it does seem like he's being mis-treated. I mean - is he turning up with a cigar in his gob and several tons of gold around his neck? I doubt it.

Perhaps the Sterling effect (or lack of) has put them off Rashford

It was always likely to be a loan move anyway given the wages but it's not likely they'll shift much of his wages now.
