What i'd really like is for them to get close or even exceed our 30 year wait between titles. As a Liverpool fan that's still a gaping sore and I'm not sure it'll ever fully heal irrespective of how well things go on the pitch for us. I want those ****s to feel the same pain.

I think getting rid of Ashworth was a massive mistake, Berrada should have left him alone and they wouldn't be in this mess as they are now, Wilcox is out of his depth fronting this, long may it continue.

According to the BBC their average annual interest on their debt since 2005 is £42m. Year after year, win or lose, £42m. I guess the competitive environment has also changed over that 20yrs too. Chelsea was financially doping then but now there’s also City cheating, us getting our **** together, and the bottom clubs are stronger now too. So they need a buy-out and also emulate what we do but somehow better. Big ask.

Don't forget, thr Glazers have been taking £10-15m a year in dividends as well, I can also see Sir Dim wanting a chunk of change if/when they do sell to the oil money in the next 5 years. Utd owned by oil money would take them to next level, I'm just hoping Sir Dim wants to be an ourright owner

The more money you have the better the players you can sign the more likely you are to win the more money you make etc etc etc.
They had money to begin with because of their bigger ground and because they didn’t have people like Rick Parry who saw commercialism as not the Liverpool way. Fergie bought some crud with that money but he also brought through the gang of 92 so they raced ahead. Thank heavens for the Glazers.
Nowadays, they still have the ground, but they haven’t spent money on it. The owner’s purchasing debt is a dead weight. Bringing through another class of 92 is like looking for lightning to strike twice. Their only hope really is as Deano says, getting bought by someone who can clear the debt, fix the stadium and clone Michael Edwards. Until then, long live the Glazers.

United were in hock with debt interest repayments, TBH, they should be out of sight given their revenue streams, you are talking more than madrid and Barca stratosphere, capacity wise, I think they are at their limit, also, given the negative marketing around them they will defo fall into a tier 2 marketing club, and revenues will tumble in that respect ( it happened to us )

I would no be surpised in the next two years that a big offer came in from Arabia , whereby the Glazers and Sir Dim got afew quid to exit.

It's unfathomable really, given the financial firepower the mancs have got, notwithstanding the bollocks spouted by the "Glazers out" brigade. During their domination, their revenues dwarfed ours, and for a long period had a near 30,000 advantage in stadium capacity, yet we never sank to their modern depth.
