    Di Maria? I think he did to a degree but I think he is a player who needed players to help score.

    I actually think that the form of RvP was a primary reason that a new signing was needed.

                  As someone who spends time on Redcafe (cough) there was a significant minority actually disappointed they were losing a promising youngster for an ageing injury ridden player. With hindsight that minority has become a majority. There was no need to splash money at Falcao. Di Maria yes, but Falcao no.

                  It was the definitive job saver move from Woodward. It may ultimately be the decision that loses him his job. So we laugh.
