Van Gaal has banged on about not having specialists for the 433 and Bale would most certainly be that. Not only is he a fantastic player he'd free Di Maria from the wing where Young has probably looked better than him, he's definitely a central player.

I don't know but they have spent 135million since then and been linked to another 135 million in the last week gossip column and now another 120 million for Bale and all the players who signed for other clubs in the summer.
