Signing Schneiderlin is a bit of a bugger. But he only strengthens Utd when Carrick is injured (which is quite a bit admittedly). Isn't Schneiderlin himself a bit of an injury prone player?

Ramos will wilt like a broken twig once he comes up against proper premiership strikers. And I'm not even talking about Stoke. Really, really hope they sign him.
    One tit for another.

I dont see why they couldn't play Schneiderlin and Carrick in the same team.

Can't see Ramos working out either.

I just meant from a defensive positioning point of view & getting him away from the defence.

There is absolutely no doubts that technically he is very good. He is quick and strong but watching Real most weeks for years now.... the amount of individual mistakes he makes is unbelievable & thats not including the sending offs. I watch Real & Barca alot because I bet on them.. there usually a banker to win. Used to be Madrid fan when i was a kid when likes of Sanchez, Butragueno, Michel were playing... since the whole Galacticos bull**** I can't stand them & their over entitled fans.

And yeah he did get destroyed vs Juve. I really would be curious to see how Ramos gets on in the premier league. Being probably the most cynical CB in modern football, in a fast, physical league like the premier.... it would entertaining.

Rafa coming in & immediately Ramos linked away isn't a surprise to me. Ramos is a massive fan favorite there but is a massive part of the reason they always look so fragile at the back. Most of the league is fodder aswell. Real only win so many games because they outscore teams and have a ridiculous attacking line up. Anyways, I would love if they spunked that money on him. Really want to see it out of curiosity. Premier league might suit him, I don't think it will but ya never know.

Manchester United are ready to go all out in a bid to capture Seamus Coleman as manager Louis van Gaal makes the right back position his number one priority.

Van Gaal has seen number one target Nathaniel Clyne move to rivals Liverpool and so the Dutchman is now preparing a €20million bid for Coleman, the stand out right full in the Premier League last season.

Coleman has been a long-time target for the Old Trafford club and former Reds boss David Moyes was keen to bring him Manchester during his tenure at United but Killybegs man Coleman signed a five-year deal with the Toffees last year.

But a massive €20million bid from United is sure to open talks with Coleman.

Meanwhile, Van is ready to dump Ángel di María, the most expensive man in British football, after just one season in a straight swap deal for Paris St-Germain striker Edinson Cavani, according to reports.

Di María, who cost United £59.7million last year, is, despite his failure to light up the Premier League last term, attracting interest from several top European clubs including European Cup winners Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Ligue 1 champions Paris St-Germain.
However, while Van Gaal is understood to be keen on offloading Di María, the Dutchman is reticent over selling the Argentine to a club he regards as direct rivals in next season's Champions League - Barça and Bayern.

A swap deal, though, with Paris St-Germain for Uruguay striker Cavani, may be considered a risk worth taking given Van Gaal's need to bolster his strikeforce.
After scoring 78 league goals for Napoli in 104 appearances and 34 in 65 outings for PSG, the striker could be just the man to get United back on track following two trophyless seasons.

That rug really tied the room together.

I wouldn't bank on that, give it a couple of months when they realise they got the wrong Neville and the cunt will be all over the BBC as their foreign expert.

A strange appointment given that their previous assistant was actually very highly rated. It might do him the world of good actually.

I think it's a great move for Neville TBF, he'll probably learn a lot, although Valencia might not
