In fact the atmosphere at most of the big teams is **** over here. Stoke and Portsmouth have loud fans but the former get lambasted for being morons. I think its because tickets are expensive which means a large percentage of fans at top teams are more interested in leg room, looking at their phones and making sure they have enough grub to shove down their throats. Singing is beneath them. The times we live in.

Try being in the crowd with him, 90 minutes of bell ringing gets right on your Norbs

I hate instruments in football grounds, the guy with the bell at Portsmouth, Drummers (Blackburn), the band at Sheffield Wednesday and England matches, vuvuzelas at the World cup etc

All of those are right up there with clubs who feel the need to play some ****ty tune over the tannoy whenever they score.

Yeah that's really annoying as well.

Foreign crowds are so much better than English ones.

                          That's a sweeping statement and a half.

It's a long drive up from London so it doesn't surprise me that their atmosphere is crap as their fans will be a bit tired when at the game.

It might be the way they cheer or even the way their TV channels portray the noise but everytime I watch another European team they're fans seem much louder and more energetic.

I've been to watch Dortmund and Ajax and both their fan bases where better than what I've experienced in any English ground.

Watching a game at the Nou Camp was interesting. No atmosphere at all until an opposition player commits a foul. Cue absolute bedlam. More noise is made than at any other time, even a goal.
                                Oh I don't know.
