Moyes would quickly buy up Felatio to sure up their CM.

Anyway, how good is this headline:

    3rd place. Worst champions ever.

The appointment of Moyes makes no sense from a business point of view.

No trophies, no European pedigree not a big enough name for the board.

Mourinho will come in and continue the success be it only for a few years. I wouldn't be surprised if Ronaldo comes back either.

Oh this is going to be fun. Living and working near Manchester means that unfortunately a lot of friends are UTD fans. My first FB status on it was "Jog on Fergie you whiskey nosed gimp".

My next is going to be "Funny how Fergie decides to retire as operation Yewtree is really getting going..." that should make a few of them rage out

I wonder if Greg Dyke will step aside and let Fergie take over the FA, Lets face it he has been running it unofficially for years.

Yeah, that rings a bell - I can't remember the full story, but I'm sure there is some history between the two of them.

And who's gonna line Man Utd's bank accounts by over-paying for their dross now? Well, Steve Bruce is back in the Premiership so there's one ...

It will only be a momentary blip. Don't think the Glazers will be concerned with the stock price at this moment.

I know quite a few love Mourinho, but not for me. He just goes into clubs, buys a load of expensive players and does nothing for a long-term plan or promoting youth. That for me isn't a great manager.

but he will bring them short term success. If i was a man utd board member thats all that would bother me at the moment!!

The latest on David Moyes, a front-runner for the job, from our man in the North-West David Anderson:

"Everton have not had any approach from Manchester United over taking David Moyes to Old Trafford as Sir Alex Ferguson's successor.

"The bookies have made Moyes favourite to succeed his fellow Glaswegian, who has confirmed this morning that he is retiring at the end of the season after 26 years in charge.

"Moyes is out of contract at Goodison Park this summer and has said he will not consider his future until the end of the season.

"Moyes, who has been in charge of Everton since 2002, is keeping his options open, but it is understood the Blues have not had any contact with United."
