There is some convenient amnesia going on there I'm pretty sure that there is a blog post somewhere showing that Moyes does better when he has less money to spend and that the one time he really under performed was when he had money to spend after they qualified for the CL qualifiers.

I mean, why announce it now? Why not wait until the end of the season when Moyes' contract is up? It's gotta be pointing towards Mourinho and his immediate availability if he forgoes his pay-out by putting in his resignation.

Is the Real Madrid dressing-room divide between the Spanish and the Portguese? Ronaldo and Mourinho to Man Utd in one summer? Bleurgh.
