All said and done, whilst I am elated at todays news it still really pains me how we let Man Utd get to where they are today, on and off the pitch. That really should have been us.

I wonder what our share price profile would look like over the last few years if we were listed.

i'd guess that buying shares in united as they are dropping would be worth while?

get them cheaper, surely regardless of who they appoint they will go back up?

Utd could appoint Sam Allardyce. If we continue targetting pap signings like Ashley Williams, we still wouldn't catch up with them. Whole club needs a change in mentality. Quite disheartening how much money we've wasted over the years

            Sorry for going off topic

              Not really.

It's the nature of markets and nothing out of the ordinary.

What will be of much more importance will be the performance of the share price in the next 12 months. Case in point, Apple's shares have not recovered from Jobs' death, not because he died, but because the people who replaced him aren't performing as well as him. That longer decline is hurting them much more than than the initial dip.
              Oh I don't know.

If they appoint Bruce Arena, I'm sure they'd drop big time

David Conn ‏@david_conn 18s David Moyes to Man Utd emphasises Manchester's football superiority over Liverpool currently, partly due to #lfc and #efc stadium struggles.

Still, I would imagine they'll want to announce Moyes ASAP to stop it tumbling further. It will create uncertainty at the very least.

Everton mate reckons Martinez to replace Moyes. Not a bad shout...
