Did you ever see the pop Martin Lipton took at him on twitter. Very unprofessional. Basically said he was getting all his info off his mates at the Times.

I don't think Rooney is being petulant for want of money, more for playing time.

It's only a guess - and I know he has form for using a transfer to boost his wage packet - but I genuinely think after this season when he has played second fiddle to Van Persie and played quite often in midfield when he *has* played, that he wants to be playing football.

That woman - who I assume has been or is a journalist - knows exactly how it works yet she still expected him to name his sources on TV. Laughable really.
