      Sky Sports News is hilarious!

They've got Jim White piss-wet through outside Old Trafford with the reception breaking up because of the wind and rain.

good move - if it goes tits up it's fergusons fault as it's his choice

be interesting to see what happens

many people saying moyes will be good there, because ferguson will help him - sounds great on paper, but it doesn't work like that.

If utd do well....it's because ferguson is helping out, if utd do bad, it's because there is a dressing room split between between fergies boys and moyes's

DBF is an egomaniac, and as such he's chosen a failure to follow him as it'll cement his achievements in history even more so. Why on earth would he want the next man to succeed as that'll prove that any monkey can manage with that sort of investment behind him.

I bet the monkey he really wanted was Peter Reid, but sadly he's been out of management for a while

Anyway, besides that, it's a win win for us. If Moyes really was that inspirational then it could be curtains for Everton. The demise of just one of them will be good enough in the short term and if that's Everton then so be it.

Long term, the scum will struggle to find anyone who has a fraction of the skills that DBF had.

IMO the players have already lost 20% of their capability with DBF gone. They will never be the same again.

the 'lesser' players will lose that belief

i also am expecting to see scholes, giggs and maybe even ferdinand to retire now

it would make perfect sense, they've won everything, it''s the end of their 'era' with ferguson - no points hanging around.

that would be a big blow for them off the pitch as well as on.

Teams lost against utd before they went on the pitch because they were **** scared of him and the aura he put around the club. I mean even Shelvey told him that he 'controlled football'

That has gone now and Moyes does not have any aura about him, teams will not fear them anymore and players will start to think about moving on because the father figure is not there for them.
