They won't decline. They are the richest club in England. If he isn't a success they'll sack him and move on within a year or two.

We'll get some good laughs during those couple of years though

Even if they do sack him, they're on the road. We had a handful of managers over decades, but once we started - by sacking Rafa - we couldn't stop! Became like everyone else, mere mortals! Sacking folk all the time. So if Moyes gets sacked, though they'd undoubtedly upgrade, they'd be on the road. New, big name manager tears it all up, bad start, restless fans in a permanent state of complaint - like us - and it all builds. I live in hope anyway
      Thanks very much for being

This is great news for the rest of the league. As for the length of the contract, it really doesn't matter whether it was three years or six, in fact, they'd look silly giving him a three year contract after banging on about longevity and all that ****.

            Me and all.

They are out of their comfort zone that's for sure. I know loads of them over here who weren't even born the last time they had someone else as manager. It'll be a tasty wake up call for the ****s.

I don't think they'll win the league next season but then I wouldn't have fancied them even if Ferguson had stayed. 3rd is very possible (behind Chelsea and City) but I don't see them finishing outside the top 4.

Europe will be a laugh though. Although they'll obviously get their routine piss easy draw in the group stages, watching Moyes flap about in Europe could prove amusing
that would take some doing!!!.......But who knows the Parellels are there..... an Angry Scottish Man taking over from decades of winning trophies, key players all over 30 , Will Anichebe be his Paul Stewart

Most manure fans were praying for the chair!

Manure have been living off straws, cheating and the biggest deal with the devil since Stalin. Now the deal's done other clubs will not just sit back against possibly the crappiest defensive midfield and defence in the top 4. Moyes actually has a better goalie, defence and defensive midfield unit back at Everton.

The media can't wait to start exploiting the holes in that team/squad in minute detail for all to see. Now that Demento's gone there's no fear. Pens and keyboards are being sharpened and other teams will sit up and take note.

Nope, Gawky is a different word. Gorky is what he looks like. Crouch is Gawky.

                            Must be a regional thing.

                              Gawky Park.
                              .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Never heard of gorky before, but that pic definitely looks gawky

Glaikit and dippit too. Moyesy would understand.
