From Daniel Taylor in the Guardian:Originally posted by Gibbo View PostI can't wait to read this imposter story in full - it's like something off a film.
3 blokes turning up in suits, "Hello we are from Manchester United, we've come to talk to you about your player"
And Bilbao just letting them in.
"I think we're going to hear a lot more about this in the coming days. The details are a bit sketchy but I've just had it confirmed from Old Trafford that the people who were in Spain, apparently negotiating on their behalf for Ander Herrera, were not sent there by the club and can accurately be described as 'imposters'.
Who on earth they were, no idea. But clearly they were trying to get in on the deal and it has ended in embarrassment for everyone. I get the feeling United are furious.
Their official explanation is that they simply couldn't persuade Bilbao to bring down the buyout clause and it was as straightforward as that (even though there is a clause, it doesn't mean the potential buyer has to meet it). However, there have clearly been all sorts of fun and games going on in the background and it's an embarrassment, to say the least."That rug really tied the room together.

This summer could well be a turning point for Utd. I just can't see Moyes squeezing every drop from the players at his disposal in the same way that Ferguson was able to. They've stumbled from one shambles to another during this transfer window. Relatively weak squad. The fans aren't happy. A couple of bad results after the international break and the pressure will be on Moyes already.
They're a bad injury to Van Persie away from really struggling I reckon.K ris90210

Moyes will finish Giggs off - won't be using his sparingly/sensibly like DBF did.Originally posted by kris90210 View PostThis summer could well be a turning point for Utd. A like for like replacement if there ever was one.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
