As fun as it is seeing the Mancs flounder we don't want Moyes to be totally ****, a disastrous season for them and he could be sacked and a competent manager brought in so the odd win here and there and a half hearted challenge for 4th place and hopefully Moyes will be given another season.

I am wondering how badly they could do and him still keep his job. What do people think; if they failed to make the top 4 would he get sacked?
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

If they just miss out on 4th by a few points then who knows, hopefully he'll be given another season and this one written off as 'transitional'.

I've been reading Redcafe and what makes me laugh is that the Mancs really seem to believe their success over the last 3/4 years was down to the utterly brilliant squad of players they have They still haven't realised that it was nearly all down to Ferguson, a combination of his ability to work miracles with average players and of course his influence with the FA.

If they miss the CL he'll be gone.Their debt burden can't sustain life without CL football, even a year out would be a massive blow for them.Could be why the are readying another share issue cos they know its not looking too hot on the field at the moment!

I hope he's in the top 4 before the final game of the season and out of it afterwards! That might tempt them to keep him on while also seeing them suffer financially.

Chelsea Arsenal Spurs & Man City will occupy the 4 CL places. If any of those have a meltdown then I believe it'll be us that will be next in line, the Mancs won't finish above 6th

I'd love it if their sponsorship negotiations went something along the lines of

£10 million a year, increased to £30 million a year if you are playing in the Champions League
Then Fergie in a gruff Scottish accent
**** that laddie. This is Manchester United. We are in the Champions League. How about £40 milliona year and **** all if we don't qualify.

There accounts would be ****ed if they didn't qualify

I think the Fergie Factor will keep him in a job the second season, it would have to be mid table before they consider sacking him imo.

Bring in a top level manager and they will want a big transfer kitty to, coupled with Moyes pay out for sacking I think he will be there till the end of next season at least

I didn't know they were. Maybe they are planning to sell up. Release the shares gradually so there is not a glut of them on the market then upsticks with huge sums of cash once the debt is paid down.

Hopefully a couple of cowboy chancers take over

Apparently Januzaj is now on 60.000 a week plus a 5 million signing fee.

For scoring 2 goals against bottom of the league Sunderland? I don't believe he is. I know football has crazy wages but no way an 18 year old who has played 4 games in his senior career is on £60k a week
