I don't think it's established fact that he was sacked for the utd deal specifically. Their market share fell and he was sacked is more realistic.

I've got a horrible feeling that we'll end up finishing 4th, and these spawny rimmers will end up winning the Champions League. I can't believe they drew Olympiacos.

Not going to happen. They will get found out soon enough. Even Olympiacos isn't going to be a walk in the park.

There's more chance of Torres winning the Golden Boot!

No, I'm worried about that too. They are such scabby cunts it's bound to happen.
                3rd place. Worst champions ever.

If Djimi Traore can win a Champions league,David Moyes can!

                    He won't though

Just who could they have drawn that you would have rated as favourites? The most lobsided 1st vs 2nd place divide I can recall at this stage. Next round will be their demise.

I reckon Galatasaray, Zenit St Petersburg and AC Milan would've given them harder games. The latter have been in shocking in Serie A, but they've done OK in Europe.

Mancs would still be favoured easily though. None of those teams would compete at Old Trafford.

And the best they can hope for is advertising it in uzbekiswherethe****istan in the Europa League next year.

Agree totally there. The gaps were huge this season.

Had a few beers with a few of the lads I used to work with today, they have very good links and sources at Utd.

The Van Persie injury/unhappy has an element of truth to it - There is a massive unease at the coaching staff brought it, and those who they replaced. Ferguson counselled Moyes to keep Phelan, the dutch fella, etc, etc but Moyes thought better and brought his own mob. Can you imagine Phil Neville giving Van Persie and Rooney tips on becoming better players !!!!! Not only that but the Giggs/Scholes promotions has grated some of the old and younger players leading to a few issues.
Don't be surpassed now that the Rene the Dutch fella, and when Phelan gets a job they unload a few on Ferguson, they feel very let down by him going (and not renewing their contracts before he went).
Contrary to other beliefs , they have a wedge of cash to spend, and they will spend it, the Chevrolet deal and the Sky deals have bumped them up to the PSG, City and Real Madrid level. The general feeling is they will give Moyes time (beyond this season and even next) even if he doesn't qualify for Europe at any level.
I make no apologies, this is me
