unfortunatley he won't survive beyond this season, but it's been great while it lasted.

When do you think the Mancs will wake up to the fact that they could easily have had Jose M; but DBF didn't want someone to come in & carry on his success?

I don't care, it will take more than a season for someone to come in and turn things around. The lack of European competition will hurt their buying power financially and desirably.

also, the players they bring in will be coming for the money rather than joining a quality footballing team. a group of mercenaries. big wages, players coming to the end of their careers, money down the old toilet...
so many other super rich teams they could go to now, and most would offer better football so they will be picking through the scraps left behind by chavs, city, psg, monaco, etc.

          great times ahead

The only real fear is the Glazers selling to a sugar daddy because they've had their fun. But even that could take years and only leave them in a City type rebuild situation, i.e. taking 4 years to get the right players in while not in the CL.

Like baitman said, there are enough rich clubs around to take the important players first. Leaving the Aquilanis and Lamelas. At least City got a clear run with the likes of Aguero, Yaya, etc.
                  One tit for another.

Not gunna happen. Why would they pay 1.5b for united when they could do a city for less money?

The fact there's shares out there also makes it too complicated.

If Jose wins the league this year with Chelsea then what odds on his ego taking him up there to be the first manager to win it in successive seasons with different clubs?

Not that he'd be able to win it with them but I wouldn't put it past him thinking he could

Extremely long odds. He picks his clubs very carefully making sure he has the best chance of instant success. They have a rebuild on which will take time. He's not a man to wait around or build for the future.
