I read an article that said his basic wont change for his current rate (£250k IIRC
), and the extra is performance related based on "how successful they were under Ferguson", which is a little optimistic... So his wage won't actually increase as they will win bugger all.

Horrendous figures. I think he's the sort who'll be next to useless once his legs go a bit and it wouldnt surprise me if it happens sooner with him that most other players as he's been playing regular since what, 16? Just guesswork but I dont think he'll age well at all.Comment

Even when he was 16, he looked like a 40 year old who had aged badly.Oh I don't know.Comment

United stink of desperation. They will spend whatever they can to try stop the freefall. 300 grand a week truly is a disgusting figure.Comment

United's list of 5 potential candidates for the captain next season, according to their official website.
Rooney (suggesting he will be staying)
De Gea
Evans (
)
Phil Jones (
)
Fletcher
Jesus, their squad is terrible! And no RVP...

Rudderless ship with no leaders in the squad. Reminds me of Spurs with a collection of players without a real leader who is a world class player.Comment

At that price per week, he becomes more or less un drop able. Ferguson would have got away with it, Moyes - no way, and I reckon it will be the stick to hit him with later on.
Interesting its 5.5 year, RVp and Ferdinand have highest earner clauses, so Ferdinand gets a 6 month pay hike for doing **** all, plus RVp gets a nice bumper pay rise tooI make no apologies, this is meComment
