Rooney being considered world class is just stupid. He had potential 5 years ago, but he's a nothing player now. He'll get them 12-15 goals per season if they're lucky. It's madness, but if it ****s them up then it's great. What a waste of money.

I had this argument with a mate in work, he's a very good player but he basically unbalances the team because he's not a number 10 and he doesn't seem to want to do the out and out striker role.

My argument was he isn't world class because as a striker he just doesn't score enough goals. My mates response was he is selfless and he proved he can in '09 (his 30 goal year) but for me that's just 1 season during his career, the same people will argue til they're blue in the face that Sturridge is just going through a faze, which is close to or already out lasting Rooney's best goal scoring form.

Is he in the top 5 strikers in the world? No
Okay he's not a striker.. Is he in the top 5 **** even 10 AM's in the world? NO
