Not worried in the slightest - just how many times have they even scored 3 or more at Old Trafford this season?!? Olympiakos showed me they aren't intimidated in the slightest by Man Utd unlike say Leverkusen. They know and we know they just need one goal and its suddenly a massive uphill battle.

The Sunderland Semi Final is a good barometer game for me. Mancs were dreadful in a game everybody expected them to steamroll Sunderland in that second leg.

Honestly, can any Man Utd fan or executive say what they're building towards? Even though FSG were newbies when they arrived, they couldn't tell what Hodgson was trying to do. Everton under Moyes were all about getting it to the wings quickly, with the occasional direct play to the front men. Is that truly what Man Utd fans and executives who back him want?
They'll definitely draw hope from what we did back then but I think it's more hope than any sort of belief. They don't have a talisman like Gerrard and their tactics of all out attack will leave them exposed. One conceded and they'll need 4

If they turned on him things would get 'interesting' but I feel sure that until that happens, they won't even think about sacking him.
I hope you're right. I suspect you may be as I know they took great joy in mocking us for chanting to get Hodgson out. Made them feel better than us because "they'd never stoop that low". Now we'll see!

I just wonder if they're seriously willing to let him spend all that money in the Summer? Surely not?

This season feels like a gift for all the years we've suffered it really does!

It really is a terrible shame for them.
          3rd place. Worst champions ever.

I said a while back that Europe was lagging behind but they'd cotton on eventually. His first results were the team's reputation preceding them.

That's gone too now, worldwide they're a spent force for the time being

"Fergie was so selfish.. Like signing players like De Gea and Jones who's best years are far ahead of their time under Fergie, not to mention Zaha.

He left a young team for the next manager, which is actually part of the problem; if he had added more leaders we might have dealt with the transition better. But you can't call him selfish, his only selfish buy was RVP "

                Tom Cleverly is 24

I thought he was loads younger than that!

Reading some of the newspaper reports from the game is like living in a new parallel universe

This was an aimless, passionless, hapless display from Manchester United.
United pulled the plum tie out of the Champions League draw — and then choked on it.

This may well be the worst performance of David Moyes’s brief time as United manager, the one that really will cause questions to be asked about his suitability.
RVP: "It was quite difficult because my team-mates are often in the area where I want to play," he said.

"That's why I have to change my tactics. Unfortunately, they are often in my area.

"It was much too slow and we only had one shot on target in the whole match against Olympiakos, which is far too little. Everyone is very disappointed."
In a city plastered with ugly graffiti the writing was certainly on the walls in Athens for Manchester United’s Champions League ambitions.

To be blunt United were awful and any hopes they had of qualifying for the elite tournament next season via a triumph in Portugal in May’s showpiece now look forlorn.

one thing giving me hope is the fact they gave him a six year contract haha - surely they won't get rid now. 6 year contract amazed, they didn't have the foresight to give him three....see where he is in a year or two and then they could get rid easily or offer longer contract
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

I really hope there is no clause in there for being utter ****, like only have to pay him 1/2 years if leaving really early, the last thing they need is a 30m payout to Moyes......+ New manager backroom staff etc.

Does anybody feel sorry for them yet?

                          Haha as if

They could lose ten games on the trot 12-0 and I wouldn't feel remotely sorry for them. Never.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
