I dont think it will.Originally posted by souliv View PostSomeone posted on Twitter it will cost £36 million to sack Moyes

Most of these contracts have loyalty clauses, and early termination clauses.
I really hope it will cost them this much, but I doubt it unfortunately
*Except Michael, who died.

the £300k a week for rooney is really a killer - it's not like he's suddenly going to go and score 30 goals in a season, create 20 chances and captain the side back to form
he's what 28 and never showed any of those qualities - and thats from someone who thinks rooney is a good player.
they need to replace evra/vidic/rio/giggs/carrick - due to age - and they need to replace them with top quality because the players they've brought in/through are not up to it buttner/jones/smalling/cleverly - though i'd argue through Januzaj that giggs won't be as big an issue to replace now.
so at least four top quality players required - all will cost big bucks and demand big wages, especially with no champions league football, United will have to pay that little bit extra to get them.
united could find themselves with like 3 or 4 players on a combined £1m a week wages loli own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

There's no point in him resigning and there's no point in sacking him with what is left of the season. The 'power brokers' at United need to really consider whether to get rid of him in the summer, personally I hope they don't
but he's been an unmitigated disaster.
There was always going to be a hangover from the glory years of the Fergie reign but no-one could have predicted he'd be so out of his depth.
Unfortunately there's still bag loads of talent in their squad, so if they do pick the correct manager next time then he's got a decent core to work with.James Philip Milner Fanclub #1

I don't think the Rooney wages are all that daft a decision (assuming he is motivated). It would cost them more to replace him (transfer fee, agents fees + wages ) with a player of similar quality and that may not even be possible for them with out CL football next year.Originally posted by PTP View Postnice

I think paying big money for Fellaini without having a defined role for him in how they wanted to play was far worse. They now have a squad that is imbalanced and over paid as any we have had in the last two decades and Moyes has shown no signs that he knows what to do to alter that."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

really? I think there forward line is top 4 (Managed correctly) the midfield is mid table at best and there whole defence needs replacing.Originally posted by Rich View PostThere's no point in him resigning and there's no point in sacking him with what is left of the season.
