Looking at their team, it's hard to see anybody who looks up for the fight. Van Persie a disgrace, Rooney totally lost, Mata looks miserable and Januzaj will never want to see Flanno again! Fellaini and Carrick in midfield were pathetic and the defence was just humiliated. De Gea is the only player who has helped himself this season.

Rooney: "It’s a nightmare. It’s one of the worst days I’ve ever had in football."
            ........................
Manchester United manager David Moyes, speaking to BBC Sport: "I thought there was not a great deal in it at half time. We had just started to play a bit better towards the end of the first half.

"It was important we came out in the second half and got a goal back but instead we gave one away and that made it very difficult for us.

"I don't think I had even got seated in the dugout when we gave it away. We were going for it but it always left us open to a counter."

On the penalties: "It is better we don't talk about any of them. Some were penalties, some weren't."

On Wednesday's Champions League last-16 second leg tie with Olympiakos: "The support was phenomenal today and if they give us that again we will have a great chance on Wednesday."

On trying to finish fourth: "It looks like we are a long way off it, we are well aware of that but we are going to keep fighting."

with the lack of CL footy and the need to rebuild they will be forced into offering massive money for mercenary dross who will sign for bucks bleed them dry. they will not give a **** about the football, just the payday.
ta-ra manure, you are well and truly over the edge and its all downhill from here

Just spent half an hour on redcafe for a laugh. Some really delusional souls on there. Some saying we're not as good as them and don't have better players, some slating Henderson saying he's ****,Gerrard should have been red carded, they had two clear cut pens, the ref won us the game. Unbelievable stuff. Very few holding their hands up. Say what you like about this place but the vast majority say it as it is from what I can see.
I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.

I have a few very good mates who are United through and through and they all say without hesitation that we demolished them today, they'd be happy to lose against Olympiakos if it meant Moyes goes. Hope he doesn't.
