I think I want them to go through in the CL. I have never, ever wanted them to win a single game of football but it's all getting too much. Moyes is in real danger. Also it would be a delight to see them getting utterly humiliated - twice - against whoever they get in the quarter finals.

If they did scrape through, the rest of the teams would be desperate to be drawn against them

I want Man Utd to win 1-0 against Olympiakos, but still get knocked out.

After the history of us, and then Chelsea in the competition, we cannot take their participation for granted, regardless of how bad they are.

A heroic loss would work for me too. Ideally involving last minute own goals or away goals or something equally gut wrenching.

A repeat of the Sunderland SF would be quite epic

They've been ****e all season and are still on the verge of signing a kit deal that dwarfs all others. They are a money making machine and missing the relatively minor rewards the Europa league brings would put a tiny dent I that. A new manager coming in with loads to spend and only the league to focus on is the worst case scenario.

I hope they spend next season playing Thursday/Sunday.

Winning 3-0 and concede a dodgy penalty in injury time.

Olympiakos go through on away goal, Moyes can actually say he was hard done by and keep his job.

Combined with beating City in the league would be perfect.

Just been talking to my United mate - goes home and away - and last night he calculated United this season have scored TWO GOALS from open play against the top 10 sides at Old Trafford this season. One v Spurs and a very scruffy goal v Southampton. That's it.

Quite the cruel one, aren't you?

No European football means less sponsor exposure although I suspect the Premier League's massive worldwide audience is enough to offset that.

No European football for one season is a tiny drop in their massive wealth ocean and would also likely see Moyes given the bullet. Absolutely no chance I want them having a free run at the league next year.

I wonder how many of their sponsorship deals have performance clauses though.

Every single sponsorship deal has performance and morality clauses. Their revenues will still be okay though as they'll get an additional 30m from the new Prem TV deal.
