For two reasons really, 1 it keeps Moyes in a job, 2 whoever they draw in the next round could well absolutely destroy them.

UTD must win. I dont want them to sack Moyes just yet and it looks like it might actually happen at this rate. Keeping him in his job is good for us. And like mentioned before, if they get enough confidence they might fluke a win at City which would be very good for us. Theres more good to them winning than bad. It'll be very good for Liverpool. Right now they're no threat and pretty battered. Have a few good games, help us along the way, then next season Moyes is still there. And then we can watch them waste heaps of money on average players and get smashed all over again.
