No idea how true it is but re the Mancs giving Carra anti-Scouse abuse......I've read he replied ""And you wonder why Rooney doesn't wanna play for you"
Yeah......you see, I know these things crop up every now and then regarding people's conduct at certain events. Some see it as a nothing issue, others denounce them etc etc..
But to be honest, I wouldn't be putting my hands in my pockets at a funeral for example (bit of a stretch I know), and it's careless habit which can give the wrong message when viewed in certain contexts.
I don't know whether or not any of our lads have been snapped strutting out at the Hillsborough memorials with their hand sin their pockets............I'd hope not, and that's a far more 'visible' occasion than the current ManU team being brought along to a memorial to the Munich Disaster, if you know what I mean.
We all remember Intandje acting the maggot that time a few year back, and he got a couple weeks suspension along with having to publicly apologise. That was more 'visible' of course (I hate saying important), but ManU obviously felt that this was an important enough occasion owing to the presentation, not to mention the photographers.
Bit of cop on is all that's needed, but I suppose they should be thankful that Nani at least took the headphones out of his ears, even if he didn't remove them completely.
F*ck me, we don’t half read too much into things on here.
If I was at a funeral, 90% of the tie my hands would be in my pockets, why is that disrespectful? I would look a lot more sombre walking along with my hands in my pockets than I would swinging my arms which I would in normal circumstances. How should they be standing out of curiosity?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Is the correct answer.......it's not difficult, just a wee bit of cop on, all too lacking in some people. It's not rocket science to show some decorum at certain moments.
Is it a big deal ? Don't think anyone is saying it is, although I'm sure some Mancs on their forums went into it a bit more, so I don't think referencing it on this forum is that big a deal.
Hands in the pockets isn't intentionally disrespectful, but it's a lazy, unaware and externally dismissive tone of body language.
At least Vidic came around in another photo, just a shame so many of them didn't, but c'est la vie.
"I will make the boys feel your support"

Well I hope the Mancs that were so upset were equally offended by the camera man, as surely sticking a camera in players faces at such times is a more serious offence than standing the wrong way at the time the picture was taken?
****, why do I care?
