Haha, I was trying to think who else had a melt down over something so trivial to be compared to CJ, but have realised that you must be referring to the joke about Red(forget the second part of his name).

I'll have to change my delivery in future.

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I've heard Chris is trying to sign Suarez (and Suarez is going to agitate for a move helped by MrM) Sarb.
If that doesn't send you over the edge nothing will.

MANCHESTER UNITED have agreed a deal with Bayern Munich for attacker Toni Kroos.

Manchester United edge closer to signing Toni Kroos
The Red Devils have been in talks with the Bundesliga champions over a suitable deal for the last two months, but David Moyes' sacking created an obstacle.

However, reports claim the deal has made significant progression after Louis Van Gaal formally replaced the Scot on Monday, with the 'principles of an agreement' now in place.

The Germany midfielder is approaching the final year of his contract and Bayern are looking to sell to avoid Kroos leaving on a free next summer.

Show me the money! Louis Van Gaal planning £200m Man Utd spending spree
And the Dutch boss is keen to make the 24-year-old one of his first signings as he looks to rebuild a broken United.

Van Gaal is understood to have a £200m budget to play with in the summer, with both the midfield and defence desperately in need of new talent.

Next season United will be without Nemanja Vidic (Inter Milan), Rio Ferdinand (free) and long-term attacker Ryan Giggs, who will take the position on Van Gaal's assistant manager.

Left-back Patrice Evra could also be on his way out of Old Trafford, with Luke Shaw reportedly close to signing as his replacement from Southampton.

                3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Probably not. They'll have less games to play and the money they plan to spend will likely make them challengers for the title.

And I can guarantee not a single Journo, pundit or manager will mention the apparent advantage they have by not being in Europe like they all loved to last season.

It's like anything else, just because they may sign lots of great players doesn't mean they'll gel in the first year. Or at all.

It's not all doom and gloom, we knew they'd get a good manager, and they'd spunk loads of money. Kroos isn't the answer, anyway. They have a whole defence to replace

I wouldn't worry too much about an Express piece.

Hard to predict how they'll do. They'll have a much improved squad and a much improved manager, but so much change so fast is never a good thing. Just look at Spurs.

One thing is for sure, they'll probably never be as bad as they were last season ever again

Still got a LOT of spending to do and still not even a single transformative player linked with them.

They may challenge for fourth next season but can't see them winning the league unless they sign Messi, Ronaldo and Suarez.

Sport say Man Utd are lining-up a €53 million bid for Cesc Fàbregas. That's almost double the price he's worth. Absolute madness, if true.
